Jacaranda Tree

This small quilt involves a different method of  machine appliqué… 
A different way of appliqueing....
Free motion Zig Zag and we don't drop the feed dogs.!!!








Requirements:-

1 fat quarter of light fabric… for the background of the quilt.
20” square of fusible web, or wonder under
12” square of fabric for the tree trunk.
1 reel brown thread can I suggest a 40 or 50 weight cotton thread 
1 reel YLI smoke monofilament 
1 pkt 70/10 sharp sewing machine needles
½ metre (yard) fabric for the first border and binding.
20” X 20” fabric for the backing
20” X 20” Thin cotton batting.
Safety pins to pin the quilt.

Embroidery or open toed darning foot,
